What a gift that would be! Or, maybe, you would like to celebrate a loved one's life after their passing! We have noticed that family trees and the quest for answers from our history is becoming a huge interest, worldwide, with people from every walk of life digging into their past, in a hope to find out more about themselves. Well, as you can see from our site, we are building a directory of people and their lives, feelings and emotions, so future generations may look back with ease and discover their roots, and hopefully find answers to their heritage. We are a new site, which is still growing, but as we develop we hope to acquire blogs from many thousands of people. Blogging is the latest social phenomenon to hit Europe and, with an estimated 50,000 new blogs created every day, is one of the fastest growing trends on the internet at the moment. Though there is not one set definition for a blog, it is essentially a personal webspace that allows you to easily publish your thoughts, opinions and ideas. This is obviously a great idea as it is the perfect vessel with which to contact and share your thoughts with family members in the future.

Unlucky for some! Poppycock! Well….so far, so good! No breakdowns yet! Well……only mentally! Poor Alanah (Nigel’s daughter and my god daughter!) has been very ill so it’s become very hard to concentrate in the site! But I’m sure she will be ok soon! Remarkably we are still on schedule! day three12th January: Day 4 in the Blogcapsule house!
Probably one thing I should have mentioned is that we initially came up with this whole concept on Monday. Therefore, it is now 4 days old! Also, I neglected to say we had given ourselves a deadline of 7 days to complete and go live! Of course, like all powerful, omnipotent creators we will rest on the 7th. But, not if Nigel has his way! Suddenly, the gap between work load and deadline seems to cross the gulf of cyberspace! Oh well! I’m sure we will stay on schedule! Nigel came round today and we spent a few hours (and several coffees) going over what was done and what was needed. Of course, I have undertaken the arduous task of trawling the net for editor’s emails, so we can finally put our press release to good use! As if Nigel’s (easy) task of site construction wasn’t causing him some serious head scratching, I was pretty much having a micromare myself, tracking down these elusive editors! HOURS LATER!!!!!!! Hopefully, now, I have some good contacts! We have also decided to change the amount that the blocks of pixels are bought for, from $14.99 to $19.99. Hopefully this will increase revenue without off putting our customers |
